We Need You To Help At the County Fairs And To Call Three Senators

THE FAIRS:

Our Coalition has secured a booth at both the Otsego and Chenango County Fairs.  We will be posting our coalition maps at these booths, assisting landowners to sign up with our coalition and distributing factual information on the safe process of natural gas exploration. 

 Truthfully, we cannot do these fair booths without your help.  We need 50 people for each County fair (Chenango & Otsego) to donate 3 hours of their time to help work our CNY booth.  Some have already signed up but we need more coalition members to participate.  Some of you can donate more than just the 3 hours and some may even be able to work at both fairs – whatever you can do will be a tremendous help.  Please don’t expect others to do this for you, please call or email the contact people below.

 THREE SENATORS:

Once again we need to call and email some of our elected leaders to have our voices heard.  With the legislature reconvening in Albany to hopefully pass a budget there is a possibility that obstructionists and their political allies will attempt to introduce the moratorium bills for vote/passage.

Please go to the JLCNY website (www.jlcny.org) to send a premade email to the three specific Senators who control these unacceptable moratorium bills.  Here, also, are their phone numbers so you can connect directly with them as well.  Be sure to call all of their district and Albany offices to really drive the pint home!  We need you to call!!
